The Adventure Continues!

Hi friends!

Well, I did it. I graduated from Carnegie Mellon University (again) with a Master of Arts Management degree! So now I have two massive diplomas and no wall space big enough from which to hang them. It is crazy for me to think that I have completed 19 consecutive years of formal education (not counting pre-school). What's even crazier is that, as is completely expected, now that I'm out I already miss it! I'm staring the real world square in the face and while I'm excited, there's a fair amount of apprehension mixed in.

In about 8 or 9 hours, I will be departing Pittsburgh, my ancestral home, for New York City to start my life in theater. More accurately, I'll be going to Hoboken, NJ to crash on Matt Joachim's couch while I get my act together. In any case, my life is freewheeling through transitions at the moment, and while my head is spinning I can't wait to see what happens.

Now, I know that all of you following this blog (read: Ankur) can levy the much-deserved charge against me that I am a terrible blogger, but I'm really going to try very hard to be more diligent about it now (famous last words). I want my family and friends to be able to keep up with what I'm doing, should you be interested, but I also want to document this first foray into my new life for posterity's sake. Perhaps a bit self-indulgent, but what blog isn't?

Anyway, if you're interested in following the continued Adventures of Spackle, stay tuned for my first update back in the Big Apple!

Keep calm and carry on.
