So, if you could design a user-friendly, simple-to-use, reliable box office software system, and you backed it up with some basic customer service for your clients, you would make a mint. I don't have the technical skills to do this myself, but you had better believe that I'm thinking hard about it. CMU folk, let me know if you're interested in this...
Oh, by the way, I finally got around to looking at the stats tab for this blog. I don't know who reads this anymore, aside from Ankur, and occasionally Aaron and Courtney, but apparently as recently this week my blog has gotten 2 pageviews from Germany and 1 from India. And within the past month, 2 pageviews from Slovenia. In the lifetime of my blog, I've gotten 3 pageviews from Canada, 3 from Russia, an additional from Slovenia bringing the total to 3, the 2 from Germany this week, 2 from Ukraine, 1 from Switzerland, 1 from China, 1 from the United Kingdom, and the one this week from India. Either some very bored international people stumbled across my blog, or my friends move around a lot. Which is it? If you're actually reading this blog from outside the US, let me know!
So four show weekends are no fun. I worked 1:00-8:00 yesterday, and will do it again today (though I got here earlier today because our ticket printer crashed - hence the first paragraph of this post). However, even though I'm working like a dog, I added another never-before-seen movie to my repertoire last night - Boogie Nights - and tonight will go out with the NYC/NJ/CT gang to celebrate Caity Pitts finally turning 21! Sheesh, it's about time. Anyway, that's all for now. If I manage to have some spare time this evening I may post again, but more than likely the next you hear from me I'll be recovering from an expensive night of drinking out on the town!
Keep calm and carry on.
P.S. ~ Did anyone get raptured yesterday? No? Didn't think so.
