Hello dear Spackelites,
Well, I'm all safe and snug at the Joachim's lovely home in Basking Ridge, NJ. Earlier this evening, I took a train out of Hoboken, trying to stay ahead of the near-total shutdown of the Tri-State Area's mass transit system. I decided to get out of Dodge while I could, not wanting to risk hanging around in the flood zone that is Hoboken. Honestly, part of my is a little bummed, because I've never experienced a hurricane and would kind of like to from a little closer, but I think I can live with the disappointment.
Anyway, I'm holed up here for the weekend, and then on Monday we'll see what the 'boken is like. Here's hoping there's something left!
