Bound for London!

Amazingly, it's been almost 5 years since I was in London last, but I'm happy to report that I'm on my way as we speak!  London is without a doubt my favorite city, just edging out Pittsburgh and a clear winner over New York (gasp!), and I have missed being there literally every day since I left in August 2008.

So much has changed since the last time I was in Europe - then I was young, carefree, in love, traveling abroad as a wide-eyed student with no clue what to expect, and feeling pretty nervous about it.  Now I am older, more seasoned, more hardened, but I hope just as eager.  No longer traveling to study at the London School of Economics, this time I'll be traveling to meet with British producers and see West End shows, myself (suddenly, somehow) a Broadway producer.  In many ways this is appropriate, because it was while I was in London last that I came to the realization that I wanted to be a producer, so in a sense this is a homecoming of sorts, back to the place where I began the path that I'm on currently.

London is an eternal city, a true world capital, a place with a weighty history and a delightful vibrancy.  I can only hope that life allows me to continue to go to this amazing place.
