And He's Back!

Well, shoot. I have no excuse. I honestly forget that this blog even existed for a few days. Mea culpa.

I don't have much time now, but I knew that if I put of posting something, anything, that it would be another week before I remember to do it again. So what happened since my abysmally early morning on Saturday? Well, first of all, my early morning was necessitated by an appointment at 11:00am to see an apartment to sublet in Hoboken. It was a disappointment, because the apartment was unfurnished, not that nice, and the leaseholder (who lived and worked out of the living room and was subletting the master and 2nd bedrooms) I could tell was going to be very controlling of the lifestyle of anyone living there. He kept going on about how "home is sanctuary" in reference to the fact that I would not be allowed to have visitors, and that I would have to do chores on Saturday mornings. Sorry, but I'm not looking to regress my living situation to the status of a 10 year-old. So the great housing search continues, though I'm actually looking at a place on the Upper West Side/Morningside Heights/Harlem tomorrow afternoon that is available immediately. So it it's nice, I'll have new place to live this weekend!

Series B of 10 x 25 closed on Sunday, followed by a very nice champagne toast. It's hard to believe that 2 out of 3 series are done already! Series C started last night, and in less than 2 weeks it will be over too. It goes so quickly.

Watched the Tonys on Sunday night with Matt and Court, in a slightly pathetic version of what was supposed to be a big party. But the 3 of us had fun, and Michelle Bova and her new gentleman friend showed up for a little, so it wasn't too depressing. The Tonys were great this year! A new location, and NPH as the host made for a really entertaining show, and Book of Mormon swept the evening! We're all so proud of Matta for his involvement, particularly in winning the Best Orchestrations award (his boss won, but it's a theoretical victory for Matta all the same!).

That's about it, actually. Still haven't started working with The Magdalene, yet, because each time I have a meeting scheduled it gets pushed back, or they say they'll get back to me they forget for a few days. I get it, the show just started previews on Tuesday, and they are still working things pretty heavily, so it's a busy time. I just wish they would bring me on board already so that I can be of use.

That's all for now folks!

Keep calm and carry on.
