Hello!
I'm new at this whole blogging thing, but I thought that it would be the most efficient (if not self-indulgent) way for interested family and friends to keep track of my exploits this summer. Bear with me as I familiarize myself with this strange new beast.
Anyway, in approximately 6 hours or so I'll be leaving for New York City (Brooklyn to be precise!) to start my summer internship at the Atlantic Theater Company. I'm really excited to get there and get started, and especially to see/spend the summer with my cohort of awesome friends (if only Shannon would be there....:-( ). <----- Emoticons plus parentheses = awkward.
So you may have some questions. What exactly will this blog entail? How regularly will it be updated? Why would anyone be interested in the adventures of an oddly-named paste? Fear not, for I have the answers! This blog will be a mix of updates about my work experience, and probably some random musings (that's the self-indulgent part). I hope to be extremely busy, so don't expect hourly updates, but I will do my best to keep things updated at least every few days or so. Spackle, aside from being incredibly handy, is a nickname of mine that I happen to be rather fond of, so there you go!
